NEW ARRANGEMENTS FOR PENSION SUPPORT

With effect from 1 September 2019, all pension support is payable at the current rate of £90/hour.

The Annual General Meeting on 3 July 2019 agreed a recommendation from the Council to an important change to the terms and conditions of membership with respect to support on pension matters. With effect from 1 September 2019, all pension support is payable at the rate of £90/hour. This applies to all ALACE members, regardless of when they may have joined.

The arrangements also apply in cases where the support commenced but was not concluded before 1 September 2019 – in other words, work done up to and including 31 August will be free (other than for members in their first 12 months of membership), whereas work done on and after 1 September will be chargeable for all members.

With Cheryl Miller having recently ceased her role as a consultant with ALACE, we are seeking to engage a second consultant and will provide his or her details in the members’ area in due course.
