ALACE ANNOUNCES INCREASE IN HOURLY CHARGES
Members in their first 12 months of membership have to pay for the work done by consultants after they have used up their free allowance (which is 4 or 8 hours, depending on whether members joined for a year or two years). The hourly charge is linked to the fee that ALACE pays its consultants, which the ALACE Council on 6 June 2019 decided to increase with effect from 1 September 2019. To reflect this, the hourly charge will therefore increase from £85 to £90 with effect from 1 September 2019. We believe this still represents very good value for money compared to the hourly rate charged by employment lawyers, HR or pension consultants etc.
